Introducing RecoverySky — The Next Generation of the AA/NA Live Recovery App
After two years of work, we're incredibly excited to announce the next generation of the AA/NA Live Recovery App:
This is a 100% complete rewrite of the original application — both the mobile app and the cloud infrastructure that powers it.
Before anything else, I want to offer a sincere apology for the lack of updates and the outages the old app experienced. The truth is that the first version of AA/NA Live was written during a very difficult time in my life — while I was literally living on the street. I’m proud of what it became, but it was never designed to scale the way it eventually did. Over time it became outdated and increasingly difficult to maintain.
RecoverySky is the fresh start this community deserves.
A Non-Profit, Open Source Platform
RecoverySky is operated by RecoverySky Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The new software is fully open source, because transparency matters in recovery communities.

Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current subscription rate.
Migration From the Old App
If you used the original AA/NA Live app, your data does not have to be lost.
Attendance records and reports can be imported from the old app.
For users who used the Journal feature, all journal entries can be exported and saved as a PDF file directly to your device for permanent personal records.
Anonymous Attendance
Android users can attend meetings completely anonymously.
Apple App Store policies do not allow anonymous chat apps in the same way, so Apple users must log in to participate in meetings.
Zoom Account Changes
Zoom recently introduced new requirements requiring users to have a Zoom account to join meetings.
RecoverySky will allow anonymous joining for as long as technically possible, but logging into a Zoom account provides additional features such as profile pictures during meetings.
